Aesthetically pleasing, wonderfully functional, fully automated. Remco designed the Swimroll to provide all these things. Made with high-grade PVC or polycarbonate extrusions that interlock tongue-in-groove, the Swimroll is highly buoyant and creates a floating floor on the surface of the water. This delivers safety and insulation, while also keeping leaves and debris out of the pool so you can spend more time enjoying it rather than cleaning it.
CUSTOM FITTED
Swimroll is custom-fitted to the exact needs of your pool or project. Each pool is laser measured by a trained Remco technician for a perfect fit to ensure that your cover meets your below or above ground requirement. Available in a variety of colours, our stylish below ground covers can be concealed when arranged prior to construction. For existing pools, we offer multiple design alternatives.

SAFETY
When installed with an integrated safety ledge or retro-fitted safety rail, nothing can slip between the side of the pool and the Swimroll cover. The covers’ rigid and buoyant panels stay on top of the water and can support up to 70kg. As an added safety precaution, Swimroll is also lockable via key switch.
*In Australia at this time Swimroll Automatic Pool Cover Systems do not replace the need for a security fence around your pool. Parental supervision is always recommended for children in the vicinity of any body of water. Swimroll is not to be relied upon as a safety cover.

When closed, Swimroll’s tight custom fit ensures that any leaves, dirt and debris that fall onto the cover won’t enter the pool. Then, when the Swimroll is automatically retracted, this material is fed into strategically positioned skimmer boxes. So Swimroll Pool Covers clean themselves!

In-floor
The Remco Swimroll In-Floor Pool Cover System is another of Remco’s amazing hidden fully automatic pool safety covers. The Remco In-floor Swimroll System is installed in a purpose built pit beneath the floor level of the pool. It is an automatic pool cover operated by remote control or key switch.
Below Ground
The fully automatic Swimroll Below Ground Pool Cover System is the ultimate pool cover solution. Having won major design awards, not only is it super stylish, but it’s performance and functionality is simply unparalleled. In Seat
This pool cover is installed in the pool itself and can be concealed under a shelf, seat or step, making full use of pool space. The Remco Swimroll In-Seat automated pool cover rolls on or off with the flick of a switch or push of a button, making it super convenient
Cantilever
The Cantilever Swimroll cover is a version of the Below Ground Swimroll that replaces the overhang beam with cantilever brackets. These cantilever brackets allow for a higher waterline often favoured in modern pool design, and are recommended for all pools greater than 6m wide.

The Swimroll stainless-steel roller unit is mounted on the pool edge. Once mounted, several design alternatives are available. The axle may be housed in a classic stainless-steel frame, or as some architects have done, designed purpose-built housing around the device transforming it into a seat, bench or daybed.
In-Pool
The Swimroll in-pool cover is installed in the pool itself and can be concealed under a shelf, seat or step, making full use of pool space. Fully automated, it rolls on or off with the flick of a switch or push of a button, making it super convenient. Leaves, debris and dirt are prevented from entering the pool water, keeping your pool beautifully clean.

Differences Between PVC and Polycarbonate Options
Polycarbonate Slats
Solar Polycarbonate offers brilliant installation and has the added benefit of being able to add heat into the swimming pool. Solar Polycarbonate is a co-extrusion made up of a pitch black base and a tinted polycarbonate top. This configuration allows for the profile to absorb heat when in full sunlight and transfer this heat into the water. Provided that there is good circulation underneath the cover, this heat will be distributed evenly around the swimming pool. Another great option is the Clear Polycarbonate or Transparent Polycarbonate. As with the Solar, this profile offers both insulation and the added benefit of adding heat. This profile adds heat in a different way – unlike the Solar this one does not absorb heat, rather it allows for solar transfer directly through the profile body due to its transparent nature. Important to note is that all three profiles offer identical insulation properties and effect of their individual heating capacity are also virtually identical. Silver Polycarbonate is going to offer some additional heat gain, but not to the same degree as the aforementioned profiles. It will however provide brilliant insulation of the same magnitude.
PVC Slats
The Standard Colour Range (PVC Extrusions) are simply brilliant insulators, and don’t add any heat to the pool. Instead, they will maintain the temperature that was in the pool when the cover was closed.
Swimroll Retrofit

Swimroll covers can also be added to existing pools. The Swimroll above ground pool cover installation provides an aesthetically pleasing option for existing pool owners. The Swimroll stainless-steel roller unit is mounted on the pool edge. Once mounted, several design alternatives are available.
